AVBOM2 - Advanced Vehicle Bill Of Material (AVBOM2) is an application built on IBM BPM v8.0.1. The application hides BOM system complexity and provides a single interface for manufacturing engineers to search parts and usages; modify existing parts and add new part information within the system.

CSI Straight Through Processing (STP) Phase II) Decision Point and the supporting Specialty Policy Quote process implemented in WebSphere Process Server provide agents the ability to upload applications, quote and eventually bind requests for insurance.   Decision Point is built on the AgencyPortal framework from AgencyPort. Using a wizard like interface, an agent will enter data about a prospective customer and their desired coverage selections.   Alternatively, the agent can upload a completed e-Application for processing using Decision Point.

Work involved building demos and solutions on IBM products. Worked on RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) technology. RFID is a means of identifying objects using Radio Frequency transmission. In a typical system RFID tags are attached to objects which then identify themselves when they detect a signal from a compatible reader by emitting radio signal. Each tag can carry information on it. No human intervention required, allowing automatic identification and automated data collection. Unlike barcode no line-of-sight required and multiple RFID tags can be read simultaneously.

New system CISL was used for call provisioning. The provisioning interface between Inbound Architect and CISL was implemented by sending XML documents between the systems. Request is initiated from IA Database (ISMCSS) to CISL via the J2EE application hosted on WebLogic Server. The response is sent back from CISL to IA via the WebLogic server. Communication between ISMCSS database and WebLogic server is implemented using Oracle advanced Queue(AQ) technology and WebLogic JMS.

SpeedTrade is a virtual trading terminal, which allows clients to trade at NSE. The SpeedTrade Client application connects to the Weblogic application server using the Jintegra COM to JAVA bridge. It uses the core business logic and order routing of the Sharekhan site.

Responsibilities:

·               Application Design and Development of EJBs which exposes the following interfaces:

1.                       An interface for authentication of Clients using the LDAP.

2.                       Order Placement/ Modification/ Cancellation

3.                       Various types of Reports.

·               Design of the various message structures used to communicate with the SpeedTrade server for request/ response and sending acknowledgments.

·               Development of the multicast Server, which sends all the acknowledgments, received from the Exchange to the SpeedTrade Server.

·               Development of a Load Generator, which was used for stress testing and testing the performance of Jintegra Bridge using multiple EJB instances in VB as COM Components.
